To protect your privacy, you can turn off location services on your iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X. This will prevent some apps or websites from accessing your location information. If you want to allow certain apps to access your location, you can selectively turn on location services for those specific apps. To do this, follow the steps outlined in this article to learn how to turn off or limit location services on your iPhone.
To enable location services for specific apps on your iPhone, follow these steps: Go to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security > Location Services > toggle on the switch next to the app you want to allow location access for. Alternatively, you can also enable location services directly within the app itself, if available.
Step 1: Open the Settings App on your iPhone 8/8 Plus/X, and enable AssistiveTouch to take a screenshot without pressing buttons.
Step 2: To access location services on your device, scroll down to the privacy section and tap on "Location Services".
Step 3: To turn off location services for certain apps, find and click the app you allow to use your location information, then select "While Using the App". Next, find and click the app you don't want to use your location information, then select "Never". This will disable location services for the selected apps. You can also use this method to turn off location services for some system services.
To completely turn off location services, go to Settings > Location Services and toggle it off. This will prevent all apps and system services from accessing your location.
Step 1: To invert colors on your iPhone 8/8 Plus/X, go to the Settings App, where you can also make your iPhone screen more eye-friendly by inverting colors.
Step 2: Scroll down to choose Privacy and then click Location Services.
Step 3: To turn off location services, toggle the button to disable it and then click "Turn Off" to confirm. This will prevent any app or system service from accessing your location.
