A bootable USB may show less capacity because the creation tool made small boot partitions. To use it as normal storage, remove the old layout and create one new partition.


This method erases the selected disk. Check the disk number twice before running clean.
Use Qiling Disk Master if Windows shows several tiny boot partitions or does not let you delete them in Disk Management. The correct workflow is to remove the old USB boot layout first, then create one new full-size partition.
Open Qiling Disk Master and locate the bootable USB drive by capacity, disk number, and partition layout. Select one of the old boot, EFI, or small tool-created partitions on the USB drive. Do not select a partition on the internal Windows disk.

Choose Delete for the old USB partition. Repeat the same action for the other small partitions on the same USB drive until the USB space is ready to become unallocated.

Check the preview carefully. The pending operations should delete partitions only from the removable USB drive. If the disk number and capacity are correct, click Proceed and wait until the delete operation is complete.
After the old boot partitions are removed, select the new unallocated space on the USB drive. Right-click it and choose Create to build one normal storage partition.

Use the full USB capacity, assign a drive letter, and choose a file system. exFAT is suitable for broad device compatibility, while NTFS is better for Windows-only storage. Confirm the settings, click Proceed, and then reconnect the USB drive to refresh its capacity in Windows.

Handle the visible symptom first, then protect data before any delete, format, resize, or clone action. If the disk layout is confusing, use a visual tool and confirm the target before you click Proceed.
