SSD Imaging Software for Windows: Create a Safe Disk Image
Use SSD imaging software to create a recoverable image of Windows, apps, and data before upgrade or repair.

Why Image an SSD?
An SSD image stores the system, boot partitions, applications, and files in one backup set. It is useful before Windows updates, SSD replacement, partition changes, or troubleshooting an unstable PC.
What to Check First
- Make sure the destination drive has enough free space.
- Check SSD health before imaging a failing disk.
- Use system backup for Windows rollback and disk backup for the entire SSD.
- Keep at least one image on an external drive.
Create a Disk Image with Qiling Disk Master
A disk image is useful before upgrading or repairing an SSD because it keeps partitions, boot files, and data together. Use it before factory reset, hardware changes, risky partition repair, or drive replacement.
Select Disk Backup
- Open Qiling Disk Master, choose Disk Backup, and add the disk that contains Windows or important files.

- Confirm the disk by capacity, model, and partition layout. If the PC has several similar disks, label them first or disconnect the disk you will not back up.

Choose Destination and Start
- Save the image to an external drive, NAS, or a different internal disk with enough free space.

- Click Proceed. Keep the computer powered on and do not unplug the backup drive until the task finishes.
