Clonezilla is a disk-imaging and cloning option, but some users prefer a guided Windows interface for an SSD replacement. Qiling Disk Master offers a disk-clone flow with explicit source, destination, and layout review. Decide whether you need a direct clone or an image backup: a clone overwrites the target disk, while an image is stored as a backup file.
Use a disk clone when the destination should replace the whole source, including data partitions. For Windows alone, System clone may be simpler. Make a separate backup of any files already on the destination. Confirm source and target by disk model and capacity; drive letters can change in recovery environments. Check used space and partition layout before attempting a smaller target.
Step 1. Connect both drives and choose Tools and utilities > Disk clone.

Step 2. Select the source disk containing Windows and the data you intend to copy. Check its model and size, then click Next.

Step 3. Select the destination disk by model and capacity, then click Next. Everything already on this destination can be lost.

Step 4. Review the preview map and any SSD-alignment option. Confirm that the proposed layout fits the target. Click Proceed, acknowledge the data-loss warning, and wait for completion.

Install the target disk in its intended slot, select it in UEFI, and test Windows with the old disk temporarily disconnected when practical. Check important files and partitions before erasing the source. For additional Clonezilla tradeoffs, see the broader Clonezilla alternative article.
