How to Sync Google Contacts to iPhone X/iPhone 8/iPhone 7 in iOS 11

Google Contacts allows you to sync contacts from one Google account to another, import contacts to Outlook, or transfer them to an iPhone using iCloud. This is especially useful for iPhone X, 8, or 8 Plus users in iOS 11, as it enables you to import Google contacts to your new device quickly. The steps to do this can also be applied to earlier iPhone models, such as the iPhone 7. How to sync Google Contacts to iPhone X/iPhone 8/iPhone 7

To transfer Google contacts to your iPhone, enable iCloud Contacts on your iPhone in iOS 11 by going to Settings > [your name] > iCloud and toggling on Contacts. This will allow you to sync your Google contacts with your iPhone.

Step 1: Go to Google Contacts (https://www.google.com/contacts/) from your computer and log in with your Google account.

Step 2: Choose the contacts you'd like to import to your iPhone.

Step 3: In the Export Contact window, choose vCard format as the exported format and then tap on Export.

Step 4: Visit iCloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and ensure you're signed in to iCloud on your iPhone with the same Apple ID to avoid syncing issues.

Step 5: To access your iCloud contacts, select the "Contacts" option from the available choices, which will then direct you to the iCloud Contacts page.

Step 6: To import a vCard, tap on the gear icon at the left bottom of the screen and select Import vCard.

Step 7: Open the exported .vcf file in iCloud contacts by selecting it and clicking Open. This will quickly import the selected contacts into your iCloud contacts.

Step 8: To sync Google contacts with your iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 7, go to the Contacts app on your device and you'll see the Google contacts have been synced via iCloud.

To sync iPhone contacts to Outlook, you can use the "Contacts" app on your iPhone. Open the app, tap the "Accounts" tab, and select "Add Account" to add your Outlook account. Then, tap "Allow" to give the app permission to access your contacts.
