The two popular ways to upgrade Android Marshmallow to Nougat are via OTA update and a factory image. However, we generally recommend against using factory images for upgrades, as it's a process that's better suited for advanced users who want to test Nougat before its release. Using factory images can be risky and may damage your device, so it's not recommended unless you're an experienced user with a backup created. If you're confident enough, you can download the Android Nougat 7.0 system image.
