EaseUS Partition Master and Qiling Disk Master can both change the layout of a Windows disk. This comparison is about partition management, not EaseUS Todo Backup or Data Recovery Wizard. Before deciding which interface is easier, determine whether your disk actually needs a third-party operation: Windows Disk Management may already handle a simple shrink or an extension into adjacent unallocated space.
| Task | EaseUS Partition Master | Qiling Disk Master |
|---|---|---|
| Resize or move a partition | Provides graphical resize, move, and extend operations. | Provides Move/Resize in Disk management. |
| Create or delete a volume | Provides partition creation and deletion tools. | Provides partition creation and deletion tools. |
| Move Windows to a new drive | Vendor lists system and partition migration features; check edition. | Use the appropriate system or disk clone task; check edition. |
| Create an image before changes | Partition Master is not the same product as EaseUS Todo Backup. | Disk Master includes backup tasks alongside disk management. |
Edition limits matter more than a feature list. Confirm that the operation, disk style, and Windows version are supported by the exact release you plan to use. Avoid relying on an old comparison of free and paid plans.
Open Windows Disk Management and note the disk number, partition style, and order of partitions. To extend C:, unallocated space must be on the same physical disk. Windows' built-in Extend Volume is typically available only when the space is directly to the right of the target volume and the file system and disk layout permit it. If a Recovery partition lies between C: and free space, do not delete it just to make the button active.
Check BitLocker status and save the recovery key before touching the system disk. A change to boot-related partitions can trigger recovery-key prompts. Disk errors or an unreliable power supply increase the risk of any resize operation.
The following is a backup preparation workflow, not a command to resize or convert the disk.
Step 1. Connect a separate healthy disk with enough free space. In Qiling, open Backup and Recovery and select System backup; verify the selected Windows installation.

Step 2. Choose a destination that is not on the disk you will alter. Check its path and available space.

Step 3. Review the task and click Proceed. Wait for completion, then locate and verify the image before returning to partition management.

EaseUS Partition Master is a dedicated choice if its current edition includes the exact conversion or resize task you need. Qiling is convenient if you want backup and partition tools in one product. Neither should be used to work around missing space on a different physical disk or a failing drive without first understanding the underlying problem.
