My Photo Stream is a convenient feature that allows syncing photos across Apple devices, including iPad, iPod, iPhone, and Mac, and can even be accessed on Windows PCs with iCloud. However, users may encounter issues, such as not being able to find My Photo Stream on iOS 10 devices, My Photo Stream not working on iPhone or iPad, or not showing on Mac. My Photo Stream can be found in Settings, under the user's name, then iCloud, then Photos. However, the location may vary depending on the iOS version, with iOS 8/9/10.2 having it in Settings>iCloud>Photos, and iOS 10.3 or later having it in Settings>Name>iCloud>Photos.

How to fix My Photo Stream not working?

1.Change the format of your photos

My Photo Stream supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and most RAW files, but not Live photos and videos. If all the photos are Live photos, the feature won't work, so you may need to transfer them to a computer.

2.Find my Photo Stream in iCloud Photo Library

Apple notes that when iCloud Photo Library is enabled, My Photo Stream can be found within All Photos. Although My Photo Stream appears to not be functioning, it is actually working in a different manner. If you don't need to sync photos from your iPhone, consider disabling both features to potentially improve your iPhone's performance.

3.Log in with the same iCloud account

To sync photos from your iPhone to your iPad or Mac, ensure that all your Apple devices are using the same iCloud account. This means having the same Apple ID and password across your iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac. Using different iCloud accounts will prevent the photos from syncing between devices.

4.Keep ways from low battery

My Photo Stream will automatically turn off when the battery level falls below 20%, which means it won't function when the battery is low. This is a fixed feature that cannot be changed.

5.Try better Wi-Fi connection

Ensure your devices are well connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, as Wi-Fi is necessary for both My Photo Stream and iTunes to sync photos from your iPhone or other devices.

6.Don't forget to turn off the Camera

All syncing jobs will start after the camera is turned off, so if your camera is still on, My Photo Stream will not work.

7.Fix system problems on Mac and Windows PC

To use My Photo Stream, your Mac should be running OS X Lion 10.7.5 or later, and your PC should be on Windows 7 or later with iCloud for Windows installed correctly. Earlier systems may not support this feature.
