Your PIN Is No Longer Available in Windows: Fix It

The message may appear after a security update, TPM change, motherboard repair, profile issue, or system file damage. It does not always mean your files are lost.

Try Sign-in Recovery First

Fix the PIN Problem in Windows

  1. Restart the PC and try password sign-in.
  2. If you can sign in, open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
  3. Remove the old PIN and create a new one.
  4. If Windows will not sign in, boot to Advanced startup and try Startup Repair.
  5. Use System Restore if the problem appeared after an update or hardware change.
