R-Studio and Qiling Deep Data Recovery target different levels of recovery work. Qiling offers a guided path for common Windows file loss. R-Studio exposes more advanced controls for disk images, complex file systems, network recovery, and RAID work. Neither can guarantee that overwritten or physically destroyed data is recoverable.
| Recovery situation | Qiling Deep Data Recovery | R-Studio |
|---|---|---|
| Recently deleted files on a healthy Windows drive | Guided scan, file filters, preview, and recovery. | Detailed scan and file-system views; more controls to learn. |
| Formatted or RAW partition | Scan the original location and preview found files. | Scan or image the device, then inspect recognized partitions and files. |
| RAID, remote systems, or forensic-style work | Check the exact product edition and support before proceeding. | Designed with advanced disk-image, RAID, and network workflows. |
Do not infer a recovery success rate from a feature list. Results depend on whether the original data blocks have been overwritten, the drive's condition, encryption, and the file system.
Stop writing to the affected disk. Install the recovery program on a different physical drive if possible. If the disk clicks, disconnects repeatedly, or reports hardware errors, continued scanning can worsen the problem; consider professional assistance or a suitable disk image first.
Step 1. Open Deep Data Recovery. Choose a scan mode that matches how the files were lost, such as Fast Scan for recently deleted files or Format Scan for a formatted drive. Use the file filters if you need to narrow the search.

Step 2. Select the original partition or removable device by drive letter and capacity. Start scanning that location; do not select the drive on which you plan to save recovered files.

Step 3. Use the file-type filters or search results to narrow the list. Preview representative files and check their names, sizes, and contents where preview is supported.

Step 4. Select the files you want, click Recover, and save them to another physical disk. Open several recovered files to confirm that they are usable before formatting or repairing the original device.
For a healthy Windows PC with accidental deletion or formatting, begin with the guided scan and preview process. For RAID reconstruction, remote recovery, or intensive image analysis, R-Studio may be more suitable for an experienced technician. On a mechanically failing drive, choosing either program is secondary to preventing further damage.
