A Sabrent SSD purchase does not automatically prove that a permanent cloning license is included. Check the exact model, seller package, and current official support terms before downloading software.
Identify the Sabrent SSD's exact model, form factor, protocol, and capacity. A Rocket NVMe model and a SATA model need different compatible ports or enclosures. Review Sabrent's current official product and support pages for any bundled or downloadable migration utility, eligible models, and license conditions. Avoid unofficial installers advertised as universal Sabrent tools.
If no suitable vendor tool is provided, a compatible general-purpose cloner can migrate a healthy Windows disk. Confirm that your installed edition supports full-disk cloning; the presence of a free download button is not a promise that every feature is free.
Back up important files separately and save the BitLocker recovery key. Identify the whole Windows source disk, including EFI or System Reserved and recovery partitions. Check that the Sabrent SSD can hold the required layout and that its existing data may be overwritten.
For a single-slot laptop, use an enclosure that matches the SSD's protocol and length. Do not confuse an M.2 SATA enclosure with an M.2 NVMe enclosure. If the old disk is failing, protect data before repeated clone attempts.
The screenshots below show example disks. Verify the names and sizes shown on your own PC.
Step 1. Connect the Sabrent SSD and open Tools and utilities > Disk/Partition clone in Qiling Disk Master.

Step 2. Select the entire Windows source disk row, not only C:, and click Next.

The screenshots use sample data disks. Select your actual source and destination; the illustrated partition-clone completion is not a substitute for checking your own whole-disk job.
Step 3. Select the Sabrent SSD as destination by model and capacity; click Next after confirming it can be erased.

Step 4. Review the proposed partition layout and capacity allocation. Check for boot and recovery partitions; enable SSD optimization only if offered and appropriate.

Step 5. Click Proceed, confirm the destination-erase warning, and wait until the task reports success.

Install the Sabrent SSD internally and boot with the old disk disconnected when practical. Check Windows Boot Manager, encryption, Activation, apps, and files. Inspect unallocated capacity in Disk Management and keep the original disk until several successful starts.
That may omit boot partitions; use a complete boot-disk migration for a Windows replacement.
No. Software cannot overcome a physical protocol mismatch.
Check the exact Sabrent software offer, protect the source, clone the complete disk, and validate the SSD in its final slot.
