Qiling Disk Master offers three convenient ways to transfer data and files: via network connection, via an image file, or using local applications. This is particularly useful when transferring between or from/to SD cards, which can be read by any Windows computer as a drive. As a result, Qiling Disk Master can seamlessly perform its duties.
1. Transfer Data Between SD Cards
You can easily transfer data between SD cards with Qiling Disk Master by running it on two Windows computers connected over a network. Insert the SD cards into different computers, run Qiling Disk Master on both machines, and choose "PC to PC" to connect them. Once connected, select the specific data, folders, or applications to transfer.
You can only transfer data from an older version of Windows to a newer version, not the other way around. For example, you can transfer data from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10 computer, but not from a Windows 10 computer to a Windows 7 computer.
2. Transfer SD Card by Creating an Image File
You can use Qiling Disk Master to transfer data between a computer and an SD card, or between two SD cards, by creating an image file. This process involves launching Qiling Disk Master, clicking "Create Image Files", choosing the folders and programs to be included in the image, and then copying the image to the targeted computer. Once the image is on the new system, you can run Qiling Disk Master again, select "Recover via Image File", and restore the data from the image. This method allows for seamless data transfer between different devices.
3. Transfer Local Applications
This mode is for transferring applications, such as moving Steam games to an SD card. To do this, identify the drive letter in Windows that represents your SD card, then launch Qiling Disk Master and choose "App Migration". A list of movable applications will be displayed, marked as "Yes". Select the applications you want to transfer and specify the location at "Transfer to". Finally, click "Transfer" to move the selected applications.
