We've had this happen to some of our client machines within the past six weeks. A perfectly fine Windows 10 PC will no longer boot. The drive changed from NTFS to RAW. CHKDSK reverts it to NTFS; however, rebooting jumps to Windows Repair, where the disk reverts to RAW. I don't know how to fix this problem.
It's possible that the machine's hard drive has failed, so I recommend using Qiling Disk Master to check the SMART status of your hard disk, as it can help identify any issues with your hard drive on Windows 10.
Here are the steps on how to check hard drive or SSD health via it:
Step 1. Click open Qiling Disk Master and enable the "Disk Health" feature.
Step 2. Choose the target disk and click the "refresh" button.
You can use Qiling Disk Master to format your RAW drive. First, check the SMART attributes and status of your hard drive to ensure everything is working properly. If any issues are found, address them before proceeding. If the hard drive is in good condition, you can then use Qiling Disk Master to format your RAW drive, which can help resolve any hard disk issues.
Here is how to use it to format a RAW drive to NTFS:
Step 1. Launch Qiling Disk Master, right-click on the RAW partition and select "Format".
Step 2. Format RAW Partition and reset the file system to NTFS.
Step 3. Click "Proceed" to continue in the Warning window to execute the operation.
You can now use your hard drive after formatting it to NTFS.
